around in randomness, beware of it.
Alligators
haunt their castle’s moats, small lizards also,
but these have sharp
forked tongues and they are clad in sturdy rags.’
‘And so?’ asked I.
‘And so they’re full of flowering armor.’
I eyed her. ‘Of?’
‘Laurel. The pipers had ordered it, and
they ordered me.’
‘Pipers are laughable.’ ‘Oh no, not so:
they’re strong. One tall,
one tarnished,’ said she, then more thoughtfully,
‘and can be both.’
‘Well, how does one break into castles, then?’
‘Well, the lily
when in green courtyards can be poisonous.’
I nodded then.
‘But sometimes not,’ said she.”

htebazytook. Mainly my life is reading and languages and odd sprees of mainlining television shows of variable obscurity. I'm a college student who tries to scribble down what I can in my spare time. Most of that is over at windfallswest, my writing journal (the fanfic is public--my original stuff in friends-only, but I'm easy). I'm kind of bad at posting things, though. This journal gets even more erratic attention, I'm afraid. Friending is welcomed.
